How do I fix my sleeping habits? Like for example i tend to go to sleep really late even if i sent an alarm i would just dismiss it even if it’s far away because I usually have my laptop with me so i can listen to music so i can fall asleep.
To improve your sleeping habits, start by establishing a consistent bedtime routine. Set a specific time to wind down each night, ideally 30-60 minutes before sleep. Limit screen time, including your laptop, and consider activities like reading or meditation instead. Create a calming environment to signal your body that it’s time to sleep. Gradually adjust your sleep schedule by setting alarms to remind you to start your routine. Remember, consistency is key to developing lasting healthy habits around sleep.
You should avoid contact with your phone and food at least 30 minutes before sleep. After you get off your phone meditate and do calm things, like reading a book, writing some quetes, a journal or five thing you are ... for, anything that makes you feel sleepy and relaxed. Be sure all lights are turned off and if you are a girl silk pillow case, blanket, bonnet.... etc helps a lot. Hope this helped
Sleeping has been something I have struggled with as well in the past. I guess bad sleeping habits from college stayed with me. I noticed a routine involving breathing and a shower really helped the body sleep soundly. I would do deep breaths after taking a hot shower followed by a quick cold one. Brush my teeth and set the room temperature to 69 degrees for optimal sleep. The room is completely dark as well so that helped my body regulate into sleeping properly. Try it for a week and see what happens. Be consistent
