You might try a good book. Any sort will do. If you like small bits of info with a lot of pictures typically found on social media, you could try an art book or a book of funny papers comic strips. If you like to read magazines try to get them in print. Listen to an audiobook.
Other ideas might include knitting/crocheting, drawing or coloring, journaling… If you have a planner, check it and jot down last minute things to tackle to tomorrow. Thinking about the next day before bed is a good way to help you do what needs doing.
Whatever it is that speaks to you, simply find a disconnected version!

When I need social media to zone out, I disconnect before bed time in many different ways. To disconnect is to no longer use any electronics. I would find something else to occupy my mind with. At night, I like to self-meditate, and sometimes close my eyes and count. This gives my mind something to do. Additionally, I would sometimes dream, think of how my day went or a scenario in life. Doing so with my eyes closed helps me fall asleep relaxed. A way to disconnect is by telling yourself that it’s important to you, and will benefit you later on. No matter what, you will fall asleep, and you should fall asleep at the right time. You should motivate yourself to do, and give some pros to disconnect. My disconnecting, you are giving your mind a break, benefiting your health, and having an organized schedule. You can disconnect by just placing your phone outside your room, and buying an alarm clock instead of using phone alarms. You can simply try reading a book, or drinking some milk to replace using your electronic.

You could incorporate something soothing on social media to zone out such as a meditative song or story?

Something that helps me zone out or decompress from a long day it’s usually listening to music or reading a book/ magazine. Taking a warm shower at night time to relax muscles and finally finding some sort of task like cleaning, listening to music, doling clothes
