How can you remind yourself to disconnect? Everytime I try I get distracted and find it hard for me. I try to spend less time on technology, but still doesn’t work for me entirely. Is there a better way for my mind to accept it better.

To effectively remind yourself to disconnect, start by setting specific times for technology use. Create rituals around these times, like a calming evening routine or a morning mindfulness session. Use visual cues, such as sticky notes or reminders on your phone, to reinforce your commitment. Gradually increase your unplugged time, allowing your mind to adjust. Remember, it’s about creating a balance that feels right for you, fostering a healthier relationship with technology.

One of the things that help me the most is to remind myself of my reasoning and my objectives, what I want my future me to look like, to think, to feel. I also have a negative image of myself, were I see how I would look, how I would think and feel if I don’t achive my objectives in life, and that of course includes disconnecting.
