How can I get more interested in books

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

To cultivate a genuine interest in books, start by exploring genres that resonate with you. Set aside dedicated time each day for reading, creating a ritual that fits into your routine. Consider joining a book club or discussing books with friends to enhance engagement. Finally, remember that reading should be enjoyable, so choose titles that excite you and gradually build your reading habit. By making reading a meaningful part of your daily life, you’ll naturally develop a deeper interest in books.

Read short stories first. Find a genre you actually enjoy not what is portrayed as something you might enjoy. I usually read things about grief because it teaches me all the things that I can be happy about. Take your time, force yourself to read at least 1-2 pages a day and eventually you’d be so invested that you’d wanna read more. Don’t force yourself to read something you don’t enjoy and don’t force yourself to read more and more. Just stick to the 1 page a day because you might have a busy life or maybe you are just tired mentally and that’s fine so be patient with yourself
