During meditation it is sometimes hard for me to bring my full attention to my breath and to empty my mind. My thoughts roam and it feels like I can’t control it. Is there any tips on how to be more present during meditation?
It’s common for thoughts to wander during meditation. To enhance your focus on your breath and cultivate presence, try the following tips: 1) Acknowledge your thoughts without judgment and gently guide your attention back to your breath. 2) Use a mantra or visualization to anchor your mind. 3) Start with shorter sessions and gradually increase the duration. Remember, meditation is a practice, and being present takes time. Consistency will help you develop this meaningful ritual and strengthen your ability to focus.
I will go for a guided meditation if I feel if it’s difficult for me to focus. Or I will try to bring back my focus every time my focus seems to waiver
