It doesn’t mess up with your metabolism all it does is that it slows your rate of digestion just because of diluting the enzymes that are present for the amount of food you’ve taken
I haven’t noticed. But I am trying to wait a little bit after eating before I drink a water. I noticed that I am not even thirsty after finishing meal, it was just a habit that I had since growing up and being told from all sides that it’s normal to drink water after eating “because it will help the food going down more quickly” which doesn’t even make sense.
No it doesn’t. In fact, it helps by dissolving water soluble components of the meal and hastening the digestive process.
