Do you prefer meditation in absolute silence? or do you need some music or audio guide?
The choice between meditation in silence or with music/audio guidance ultimately depends on personal preference. Some find absolute silence helps them focus and connect deeply with their thoughts, while others benefit from the calming effects of music or guided meditations. Experiment with both to discover what enhances your meditation practice. The key is to create a meaningful daily ritual that supports your journey towards mindfulness and lasting healthy habits.
I generally prefer to play some kind of background audio. I struggle to quiet my mind without something to direct my focus. That being said, when I use guided meditations, I like to view them more as suggestions or springboards rather than actually fully following what they tell me to do (especially since a lot of the time the things they tell me to do don’t really work for me personally).
