While it's not strictly a mystery like a Sherlock Holmes book would be, American Gods by Neil Gaiman is in amazing novel that I'm currently rereading for the 5th time that continues to draw the reader with little mystery plot points here and there while dropping some hints in the story as well.

This question is kind of vague. I’m unsure if you want me to present mystery books or films? Or is this a subjective question surrounding my experience/ life? Like something that I ponder often that you want to as well? I’m going to take it as that. Books and music are often described as the universal language. Why do these forms of art resonate so deeply and has the ability to build bridges and speak to our most inner feelings?

Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes novels are good, though so of the terminology can be a bit hard to understand at times. Also, anything by Agatha Christie is very good with less difficult terminology. If you want something with more of a horror aspect to it, I'd recommend the author Frank Perretti; one of my favorites of his is called "House". I hope this helps.

I really like And Then There Were One by Agatha Christie. I read it for school, but still ended up loving it. It keeps you on your toes until the very end and is super interesting! 10/10 would recommend.
