Can I have fruit if I’m having oats for breakfast?

Yes, they are both healthy and go well together, try mixing them with yoghurt

Probably, fresh fruit also contains sugar but it tends to metabolize more quickly than that in oats (starches have to be broken down first before your body can use them) and causes a softer spike in blood sugar than does processed sugar. If you’re worried about blood sugar levels it may be best to avoid dried fruit though.

I don’t see why not, fruit and nuts with oats is a very complete meal. Particularly if probiotics are included =)

Yeah, why not, just dont over do it on the nuts. A handful should be enough

I love having oatmeal in the morning with fruit. I like to prepare overnight oats the evening before. Equal parts oatmeal and milk (almond or other works too)! That way it’s ready to go in the morning. Cinnamon, fruit, and nuts are great additions. I have about a cup.. keeps me energized until lunchtime and even then I’m still pretty good so it’s usually a light lunch and maybe green tea.
