It all depends on why you are doing yoga. I do yoga as a way to relax and destress. For me, working up a sweat and intense exercise is not something I want to do to destress and relax. If you want to do more intense yoga then that is fine. There is more than one kind of yoga all with different benefits. I would suggest doing some research on these kinds to find one that best suits your wants and needs.

sweating or treating yoga as a workout is not why i do it. To me, i do yoga first thing in the morning to stretch my body, relax my muscles and as a way to get ready for the day
