One of the questions I’ve always had is… Someone once told me that if I was meditating with music, then I wasn’t really meditating at all! 😦 For me the music is part of therapeutic vibes I get from them. To me, (maybe due to my ADHD) silence can be torture! Having music, nature sounds, or someone’s voice guiding me is a must for me. But is it truly meditating?

I personally believe meditation has its own different ways. There are different types of meditation: meditating in silence, mantra meditation (which works through vibration), guided meditation. But also walking is a form of meditation, and so could be music. You see, as far as your mind is doing what is meant to do, which is calm down and empt out, meditation is efficient. Or at least this is what I think.
