I use the location of exercise in the morning routine as an opportunity to decide what exercise I will be doing that day. Then I do the exercise whenever it fits best in my day, even if that means in the late afternoon or evening.

Exerting yourself in the morning is important because it promotes blood circulation. This can sort of energize you and prep your brain for the day. In the evening, I typically stretch, but there may be benefits for doing a more intensive exercise at night.
