I love waffles for breakfast too! But I get it – store-bought ones can be full of preservatives and additives. I make my own waffles and freeze them for later. To make them more nutritious, I use a mix of half whole wheat flour and half all-purpose flour, and sometimes add blueberries or other fruit to the batter. My favorite is adding pecans for a protein boost! I only use pure maple syrup…not the fake kind. Just freeze them, and you’ll have healthier waffles ready anytime!

Honestly, it doesn’t work for me when I want something but opt for some better alternative. Over time I’ll still be wanting that something, so I’d say just have that waffle and satisfy your heart and taste buds!
