What do you like to focus on besides your breathing? Objects, movement, sounds, etc?
Besides breathing, sometimes I focus on a mantra I like very much. It goes "So Hum" and it really stills my mind. Other times, I do focus on sounds around me, or the feeling of my weight, or the feeling of energy in my hands.
