What do you find most helpful about journaling?

It gives me a chance to process my thoughts and feelings, and gives me an opportunity to take
notes on things I want to ponder during my daily quiet times and moments of meditation. It’s also the place where I list the things I am grateful for every night before I go to bed. Finally, I find it really helpful to go back over my journal entries from the past to see what I have learned over the past few months.
