What do you do when you can’t sleep because of anxiety?

Sleeping medication helps to calm your heartbeat down, focus on breathing or play a TV show to fall asleep to so I can make my mind busy

I’ve yet to find a solution: at night everything is darker and it’s difficult to recognize anxious thoughts…at times guided meditation helps

I usually read when I can’t sleep. It also helps me with my stress. If I’m a little tired afterwards, I do some breathing exercises to calm myself down even more

I have found that meditation can really help. YouTube also has some nice videos with relaxing sounds to help sleep. On some of my worst nights of insomnia, it has helped. Hope you get better.
