If it's because of boredom then the obvious solution is to get busy and do things. Especially activities that you value and want to do or need to do. I suggest picking up a new hobby, like playing the piano for example or learning to cook a new meal or getting into exercising daily. Also there is a trick to drown the hunger. Simply drink 2-3 glasses of water or fresh juice and you won't feel the need to eat anymore.

Well, you can start by reflecting on the ramifications of your excessive eating. Financially, logistically, health wise, especially as a negator of any efforts you put into exercise. This does not make you stop, it will just make you increasingly aware that you need to stop.
You follow this up, in my humble opinion by drinking a lot of water or keeping lots of fruit that you enjoy nearby. Bloating yourself on water is not always healthy, but being full is a great way to stop eating, trust me, everybody has tried this once or twice. Having fruits nearby is a much healthier way, and if you are consistent ; fruits double as a proper long-term solution. If you have nice looking, pleasing-to-the-eye fruits lying around, you will be doing very well for yourself. Fruits have a lot of water, roughage and too many nutrients, so many they are literally bursting with vitality.
So feel full, or busy-eat healthily, your choice, either or both work decently well.
