Hemp Seeds are one of the easiest and fastest ways I have learned to bulk up protein and omega 3s. They can be stirred into yogurt, oatmeal, squash, mild flavoured, used as the protein component of a smoothie (3Tbsp), or topping off a salad, fruit or veggie, stirred into a stir fry or grain dish, or a substitute for Parmesan sprinkles. The take away from this is that I used them in a pinch and in a variety of ways, which makes it easy to stay consistent with getting them on a daily basis and I do not limit myself to breakfast foods. I focus on balancing cravings and gentle nutrition and efficiency or convenience in order to nourish myself as kindly as possible. I have back up plans when my best laid plans fall through and hemp seeds always fill in the gaps.
