This is a battle for me although I’m getting better. Does exercise have to be morning? I see the benefit especially if you walk in the morning when the ozone from the earth wakes the birds and gives you energy for your day. I want to know how to stop being so groggy in the morning. Does this just take time? Or is it innate? Will this be a daily battle? Does this also become a habit?

You don't have to do your full exercise routine in the morning. You can just do something simple to get your body moving and your mind active. A lot of people exercise the hardest at night because it helps them sleep and the body has more time to recover during your sleep period. So, don't force yourself to work the hardest in the morning if it doesn't come naturally to you. We all have different inner clocks. The important thing is that you exercise somehow every day. So, I congratulate you for trying your hardest. Not everyone does it.

I like walking in the morning that’s my preference but because of the time that I have to be to work, I now try in the evening when I get off not quite used to it but I am trying it so I can kind of see your point.I like walking in the morning that’s my preference but because of the time that I have to be to work, I now try in the evening when I get off not quite used to it but I am trying it so I can kind of see your point

It might always be a battle , but there are things and tools you can use to easily win this war. By preparing your outfit and planning your route (if you walk) the day before. By choosing a playlist that truly wakes you up and makes you dance. Finally, just keep coming back to your reason for doing exercise in the morning and keep track of your progress

Yes, as you wake up in the early korning going for a walk can improve your dopamine and can make you sharp for the rest of the day

It will become a habit. Stay the course for twenty one days. Before that time though you will start to pop out of bed at the appropriate hour. But you could just maintain the ‘ozone walk’ or whatever in the AM (like 30 minutes) and then exercise in the afternoon if that works for you better. The wake-up time and the exercise question are two different issues.

Exercise does not have to be in the morning…. For me though I like to get it done first thing and it makes me feel better about the whole day. I’m energized and already accomplished a goal! It starts with deciding that you are going to do this… Once you do it for 7 days straight, it starts to feel normal, At this point, I feel weird not working out! And if you ate groggy in the morning, working out is perfect for waking up. I start it with jump rope to get my mind and body ready for a fun workout. After a while it will begin to feel like just part of your day but you have yo stick to it… Stary with 5 or 7 days and add on. Youve got this!
