How do you stay motivated and focused on long term eating habits?

I stay motivated with the mindset “if I don’t make changes then I’m gonna be the exact same as I was yesterday and nothing will change”

It’s very tough and I fail constantly. What works is convincing myself that eating better will make me feel better, that I’m taking care of the planet and a giving a good example to my kids. And forgiving myself when I fail so I start over with energy and not on a guilt trip.
