Sometimes I really do not have time for journaling, for example when I have an appointment immediately after lunch, or early in the morning, etc. Is it ok to journal many hours later? Or is it "cheating"?
It’s perfectly fine to journal later in the day if you can’t find time immediately. Journaling should be a flexible practice that fits into your routine, not a rigid obligation. The key is to reflect on your thoughts and feelings, regardless of when you do it. Embrace the idea of meaningful daily rituals, and remember that the essence of journaling is to support your self-care journey, helping you develop lasting healthy habits. So, go ahead and write when it feels right for you!
It’s ok to journal whenevers good for you, it’s alright if somedays you don’t have time for it, just keep picking up the pen. I like to do mine right as I jump into bed, others as they wake up, whatever works for you :D
