Should you exercise before you eat or after? The habits when you first start go from water to healthy breakfast then exercise. I don’t remember seeing anything that suggested exercise after water then eating a good breakfast, but that’s what I’ve been doing because it makes more sense to me.

You should have a light snack 1 to 3 hours before exercise but not a heavy meal so I wouldn’t basically recommend to eat (heavy meal) . This is because you can have tummy troubles if you chow down right before . That's because more blood goes to your muscles during exercise, leaving less for digestion. After exercise, your body is ready to refuel and rebuild muscle tissue. That’s when you should eat (after exercise) .

You should listen to what your body wants. If it feels better to be fueled when you're exercising, then have breakfast before. If it feels like a lump in your stomach, then eat after.
I often like to do something in between and have a light snack before, like a banana to keep the blood sugar steady, and then something more filling after to refuel like oatmeal.

Both. Many articles that I have read said that you can eat before exercising for energy. But you have to eat after so you can build muscle and things like that. So eating something like a yogurt cup before and a banana after. Do what you will with this information. Just do what feels right to you. Have a blessed day 💗

I think it all depends on what works best for you. If you usually wake up hungry, you aren't going to have energy to exercise. But some people don't have an appetite first thing.

Water is important first, but if it works better for you to exercise then eat I think that's fine. I think the point is reinforcing a routine that you can use, not being a clone of everyone else's morning. That's why they give multiple suggestions on what could work.

I think however it makes sense and works for you is fine. I’ve been doing them in the same order as you: water, exercise, then breakfast. It seems the most important thing is to do each of them each morning.

I personally prefer drinking water as the first thing I do when I wake up. After that, do your regular morning routine (brush teeth, facial care and etc), just to let the water do it’s work, and sink in. Thereafter eat something light, like an apple or blueberries or tbh whatever you prefer, so that the body starts to digest the food slowly. Then you can do a quick little workout, and finally eat your breakfast😊 Don’t workout on an empty stomach, cause it most likely lead to dizziness. I’m not an expert or anything, but hope this helps u!Good luck💕

My routine in the mornings is to check my weight first, to drink some warm water and to exercise; as this can put together your schedule because you won’t have to exercise after eating which makes you kind of full.
