I have no science behind this answer but I think lots of vegetables and some fruit plus 1 gallon of water a day helps get the body in condition for being limber.

Not totally sure what diet helps with flexibility
Though I do know eating healthy avoid lots of sodium and sugar will add endurance
Foods rich with aminos and fibre will give you more energy more energy to do the things you love
Alkaline diet is amazing
