Yes. It feels even more demoralizing because I remember what my body was capable of before, and it feels like I’ve slipped so much. I hate how I have to keep using my muscles to maintain fitness or else the body seems to slide down a slippery slope.

Yeah! I think that’s completely normal. Although I would say it’s easier to get back to your level after a break so don’t feel bad that you’ve lost progress!
