Is it necessary for the exercise part to be in the morning?

I don’t think it is a must have, but to me it wakes me up and gets me feeling good about the day!! In the morning, my exercises only consists of yoga related things and stretches. At night i get all of my real exercises out if the way!! It helps me sleep better!! If you are the type of person who feels groggy during the day or tired, I would suggest getting some yoga into your morning routine!!
