I’m having a hard time understanding what ratios of foods I should be eating for breakfast (proteins vs. carbs, etc.). Can someone suggest a blog or website with information?

The ratio of the foods you are eating really depends on what your fitness level is at your body. WebMd has a calculator for these foods. Hope this helps!

Well you can eat it balanced which means as long as there is carbs and protein in your breakfast, it would be good for you. Examples : eggs, milk, bread, fruits.
