I want to hear some basic breakfast recipes. What kind of breakfasts you are making in the morning?

Susanna E.
Depends on whether I feel like prepping or not 🙂. If I’m grabbing something on the go, I usually do fruit, string cheese, macadamia nuts, or Oikos triple zero yogurt in some combination. If I prep, I’ll make low carb blueberry muffins (almond and coconut flour), egg frittata “muffins”, or slow cooker steel cut oats.

Must of the times I maek scrambled eggs with bacon, onion, mushroom, spinach and tomato. Some avocado and a whole wheat toast. That is the easiest for me. Hope you like it.

Most of the time I have a fruit such as a banana or an apple with a shake full of protein and nutrients. The shake is an ensure formula.,

I make oatmeal (boil 1 dl with 2 dl water) serve with frozen blueberries and oatmilk! On some days i just softboil an egg. And always black coffee!

If I'm short on time I might combine a microwaved egg sandwich or frittata with toast and fruit on the side. If you want to make the frittata yourself, you can mix eggs with any number of veggies (my dad usually uses potato and tomato) and sometimes cheese, then microwaves it until the eggs are solid. I also like to make smoothies. The base smoothie for me is the shake powder, any milk and banana. From there almost anything goes.

Recently I have been alternating between a simple small avocado on plain whole grain toast with a hard boiled eggs one day and some rolled oats with brown sugar and cinnamon, soaked overnight with some Greek yogurt and a little milk the next

I had an omelet filled broccoli and feta and a side of toast.
When I don't have time I get a yogurt cup and an apple or banana

I make over night oats with fruit and almond milk. Combine almond milk, fruit, chia seeds, and vanilla Greek yogurt. Put all ingredients in Mason jar, shake until mixed, let sit in fridge over night.

I also cook blueberry quinoa. Which is cooked quinoa, almond milk, fresh blueberries, honey. Cook for about 20 min until it's the consistency you like .

Whole grain toast with natural chunky peanut butter
Omelet with a bunch of veggies

Oatmeal with peanut butter and banana. I microwave 1/2 cup oats with 1 cup water. Once cooked I add 1 Tbsp ground flax seed and 1 Tbsp peanut butter (or a small handful of mixed nuts and seeds). Then I stir in a few Tbsps of milk and top it all with sliced banana.

Oats with blueberries and some seeds/nuts (pumpkin, flax, hazelnut, brazil nut, etc). Optional pure maple syrup/honey.

Today I had two toasties. I like to make them different so one was avocado and grilled Halloumi and the other hommus and egg. Delicious, energetic, healthy and vegetarian 🌻

Not much on recipes, but Yazio app has lots of good ones.
My breakfast is heaviest meal, as in tradition: "breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen, dinner like a pauper".
Typically omlet w cheese & spinach & other veggies, sometimes salmon, small whole wheat toast w avacado, avacado smoothie.
Might be too heavy for many.

I’m not the right person to answer this because I usually just eat fruit and drink a glass of water soooo…

BUT! Sometimes I have avocado toast, bacon and eggs, pancakes (not really healthy but whatever), smoothies, nice stuff that just gets you through the morning.

I’m really not a morning person, so I like things that I can make the night before or earlier in the week.

My go to is chia seed pudding that you can make the night before, and flavor with nuts, seeds or berries. I’ve started to add coconut milk and peanut butter for even more flavor and protein. You can do the same thing with overnight oats.

Also, you can make ahead breakfast muffins with eggs, spinach and turkey sausage that you can pop in the toaster for 5 minutes if you’ve are wanting something savory.

Some days I have long cooking oats served with slivered raw almonds and Blueberries and other days smoothies with mixed fruits, yoghurt, whey protein, flax and chia seeds with milk or coconut water

Lately I like to eat some sort of fruit and dip it in peanut butter or eat a spoonful of peanut butter for protein.

I have also made a recipe for overnight oats. The basics of it is oatmeal and milk that sit in the fridge to soak overnight and make an easy grab and go in the morning! There are many different ways to make them such as with fruit or chocolate chips. One of my favorites is banana and peanut butter! There are tons of recipes online if you’re in need of inspiration!

Some breakfast ideas are just plain oatmeal and some fruits. It may seem boring but it’s enough to keep you energized and full for quite a long time. You can substitute 2% milk that’s in your oatmeal for almond milk or water. I also like making a fruit smoothie in the morning. Just blend ice, fruits of your choice, and almond milk together and you have a delicious smoothie. Eggs toast, and bacon are also great breakfast choices, but I wouldn’t recommend eating it everyday. I hope you try these out!

I actually eat 2 eggs and salad. There could be some meat or potatoes in it! Sometimes even vegetables! But, I am not into cheese and Olive. I eat bread. You don't have to eat 2 eggs because a I am a climber, I have to eat more!!
Maxim U.
I always go for eggs. But to keep things interesting I mix it up with some other ingredients I have at hand. Today for example, I made toasts, put avocado in them, then I drop a sunny side egg in each one and place some spinach leaves on top… I know it’s kind of a weird recipe, but doing that kind of ‘improvised’ recipe helps me invested in the whole making of a breakfast, and also works my creativity

I alternate between a healthy muesli with low fat Greek yoghurt, flax and sliced banana on it; wholegrain toast with Vegemite and egg on; wholegrain toast with avocado and tomato on; sometimes combine those two for Vegemite, avocado and egg toast; then finally porridge with either dried unpreserved fruit or sliced apple cooked into it and flax seed and yoghurt on top.

Been eating Raisin Bran. Some breakfast is better than none. Will start making oatmeal and banana with peanut butter once I go shopping.

I cut a bunch of fresh fruit up and freeze it in individual zip lock bags. Then in the morning I make a smoothie with a baggie of frozen fruit, a fresh banana, plain nonfat yogurt and flax seed. The yogurt and flax have good protein and it’s actually very filling!
Magret O.
Whole grain cereal with peanut butter powder and whole milk. Look at the packaging and only consume a serving size. Another good breakfast is full fat Greek yogurt with no sugar added dried fruit.
Eloane E.
a 100 calorie english muffin with 5 grams of protein, 1 1/2 tbls of peanut butter on top and 2 strawberries cut up on half of the muffin and 5 blueberries on the other half. total calories= about 250

Can I know what is the best food for diet…I’m really want to diet and eat healthy food but not vegetables…I just want a simple menu for breakfast and dinner to achieve my dream within 2weeks… Can I?
Alison E.
I make overnight oats with almond milk, cinnamon, chia seeds, and blueberries. I make several small mason jars in advance and when I wake up just heat and eat!

I start my day at 4.30am. I take my Tiffin at 9am at school. Do I need to have breakfast before departing to the school?
Kelly P.
I like starting my day by eating oats with milk and litte but of cinnamon. 2 hours later, I take my main meal consists of eggs with some olive oil and tea.

Hi, As I am from India our eating habits are quite different from other parts of the world. We consume most of our food in cooked form with varieties of spices added. So the breakfast have similar pattern of cooked whole wheat, pulses and veggies meal. If something simple than eggs in different form and smoothies make part of breakfast too.
