I’ve had this problem too! You don’t need to write down everything you’re feeling in the moment. Write what you can. Sometimes I’ll be journalling about my day, and how I felt about it, but there’s just so much— I feel like my brain (and maybe yours) will save thoughts that need closure, for you to reflect on the next day. If the thought or feeling was a really buzzy one that you need to get out, journaling makes sure your brain does it. TLDR: do what you can. What you can is often what you need 🙂
