I feel as if I fail when I can’t tick my full routine off and am sometimes tempted to tick it anyway, just to have it fully ticked. How do you deal with this?

Sometimes I feel as if I can’t tick something off because the task is just too much for me to fully complete. However, I think even making the smallest attempt to take a step in the right direction is still a great achievement. For example, if exercising in the morning isn’t possible or is over whelming, just try some squats while you brush your teeth. Or perhaps it’s not easy to turn off all electronics before bed. Instead, make the attempt to turn them off ten minutes before bed and commit to not get back on for that time. I know that it’s tempting to just tick it and be done, but even the smallest piece of effort still means you did it. Good luck to you on your journey!
