Start by organising the stuff according to their usefulness…
Those that you do not need you can either give away to charities, church organisations or a garage sale…
After a few months, reorganise the stuff leftover and see what you NEED … and give away / sell what you do not need…
Hopefully, that is useful advise…

I struggle with the same thing and you should do what you feel comfortable with but storing too many things can end up making you live in a thilthy environment ,so when you clear some of your stuff away if can give you clear mind and less stress it can make you productive and feel accomplished when you throw some things you won't and don't need anymore the things you wanna keep find a good time and organise them,so you can still keep some and donate stuff so your not just helping yourself but other people when you donate,so don't feel rushed and don't keep thinking I will do this tommorow instead think I will do it noww .wish you all the bestt💓💓

The best way to declutter is to categorise the items you are not using anymore… then find time to pack them away to donate to family, the needy in your community or to a church / charity to be distributed to those who really need them…
