How’d you stay awake for evening meditation?

I sit upright with my feet firmly planted on the ground, I personally sit in a chair/stool without a backrest to prevent me from getting to comfortable. I also find doing some light exercise, walking/stairs, will help to increase my heart rate prior to beginning mediation, which prevents me from dozing off.

After a short restorative nap in the afternoon I usually am so energized that I use meditation to calm and reflect on my day 😊
