I vary long sessions with shorter sessions. I also take into account the trials of the day and how much energy I have. A 5 to 7 minute session is better than no session at all although a 45 minute session can be transformational
I intentionally take 20 minute of my time to meditate with an app. But meditation on its own is not just sitting and being quiet. Meditation is learning to transition that peace and bliss into your every day activities. To walk mindfully. Travel mindfully. Commute mindfully. Cook and eat mindfully. To do every single thing with intention and presence. So a short answer to how much time I spend on meditation? All the time I have.
El Ides Q.
I usually spend 10 minutes because I consider it enough to center myself and reflect on the present time. However, it doesn't matter how long you do it, the intention is to do it, even if it's only 2-3 minutes. If you have more time and you would like to deepen your meditation you can make it longer for sure.

It depends on the day. If I am tired, and it has been a long day but my mind feels okay then just the twelve minutes but if I feel very overwhelmed with life I like to spend thirty minutes just focusing on thinking about nothing in order to destress
