When I journal, it calms me down and lets me realise how I’ve been feeling throughout the day, also what really annoys me or has made me mad that day. Thanks to journaling I have improved my mental health, cut down my screen time and it has also helped me realise I should cut a really toxic friend out of my life. For me, it’s a way of reflecting on my actions and why I did what I did and what I should do to improve myself or my life, hope this helps :)
