How do you stop your mind from racing while trying to focus in on your meditation?

I don’t. Of course my mind starts wandering – that’s normal. The important part is to ground myself by focusing on my breath, so that I don’t get stuck in a scenario that my mind conjured for me. Sometimes, when I’m in the flow of meditation, I see the thoughts in the back of my mind, but I’m aware of my breath and let them be.
