How do you find the time to write if you have a busy schedule like collage and caring for a pet?
Finding time to write in your journal amidst a busy schedule can be challenging, but it’s possible with a few strategies. Consider setting aside just 5-10 minutes each day, perhaps in the morning or before bed, to jot down your thoughts. You can also combine journaling with other activities, like reflecting while caring for your pet. Creating a routine around these moments can help you develop a meaningful daily ritual that enhances your self-care and supports your overall goals.
Knowing how I am, which is the occasional procrastinater, I have to literally schedule the time to write. I have an alarm and a time. If for some reason I have something that prevents me from making a journal entry or only have a few minutes, I’ll at least write a gratitude list or some affirmations. Also if you miss a night or even a few nights, the key is not giving up. Don’t get down on yourself. You got this.
