How do you deal with the disappointment of missing a day of journaling?
Missing a day of journaling can be disappointing, but it’s important to approach it with self-compassion. Acknowledge your feelings without judgment, and remind yourself that building lasting healthy habits takes time. Instead of dwelling on the missed day, focus on your intention to return to journaling. Consider setting a specific time each day for this meaningful ritual, and use prompts to ease back into the practice. Remember, every day is a new opportunity to create a routine that supports your goals.
I don’t feel disappointed cause sometimes I don’t have much to say or write about so I usually do it when a lot is happening and I need to reflect or remember an advice or something someone told me that really deeply affected me to resolve my feelings and understand them better to really stick and know the action I need to take next and remind myself that I need to change that part of myself and abide by it
