I recommend multiple things to have better results. Workouts you do should align to a program which costs a small amount. Usually the program haves you hit exercises for a specific body part. Track all of that through a device that tracks your workouts and steps, and heart rate, and nutrition. I think of the priorities to be aligned like 50/50. On one hand you should exercise (lift weights, run, cardio, yoga, walk, play a sport, etc). On the other hand you should eat the food and drinks that align (macros, micros, vitamins, overall calories, fluid ounces). Try not to drink alcohol. Try not to over eat or eat take out. Both of those hands for 50/50 need to align to what you’re trying to accomplish. That’s a simple way to describe those things but when you dig into it you’ll realize that you need to research it. YouTube videos are pretty good for that. Hopefully, that encourages you.
