In this world of distraction, it's hard to meditate without thinking about something but one has to remember the purpose of meditation.. it's all about calming your mind. So at beginning you may think about many but when you play a omkara or any meditation music and start focusing on it ,you can eventually stop thinking about everything or else you can also focus on your breath.
