How big is a”great breakfast”? Does size matter or does how healthy it is matter more?
A 'great breakfast' emphasizes nutritional value over size. While portion size can influence satiety, the quality of the food is paramount. Focus on incorporating whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats, and fruits or vegetables to create a balanced meal. This approach not only fuels your body effectively but also sets a positive tone for your day, helping you establish healthy habits and routines that support your overall goals. Remember, it’s about nourishing your body for lasting energy and wellness.
I don’t really think that “size” matters when it comes to breakfast… what actually matters is: does it makes you full? isn’t the breakfast too fatty and won’t it put a strain on the stomach? Is it nutritious enough, has it enough calories to give you energy at the start of the day? You could eat couple bowls of cereal, but it wont be nutritious, and you could eat scrambled egg with tomato’s and some fruits like apple or orange, that would be probably more nutritious, with less sugar and having more of calories that would give you energy at the start of your day
I suppose that the first objective one should oneself is to reach the calories needed for the day and then, step by step, work on his diet, opting every for a healthier choice... Fruits instead of Sweets... But first the need of food is to be satiated
I mean it depends. If it’s a breakfast after a fast then big matters but having yogurt and fruits is filling sometimes too
