No,but it did used to.I personaly have a lot of anxiety problems and the meditation really helps with that a lot because it helps me relax and wind down.
Sometimes. I find that taking the time to try to clear my mind will often lead to me thinking way too much. But in the end,it makes me feel good that I took time to think about things instead of worrying about them all day. And sometimes it calms me down and helps ease the anxiety. Other times, I'm too tired to think but too awake to sleep, so my mind is already dead, and its good to take the time to sit with a blank mind before sleep.
