Do you use structure when you write or do you just write?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

When journaling, using structure can enhance clarity and focus. Some people prefer a free-form approach, while others benefit from prompts or specific formats, such as gratitude lists or daily reflections. Experiment with both styles to see what resonates with you. The key is to create a meaningful daily ritual that supports your self-care goals. Consistency in journaling can help you develop lasting habits and deepen your self-awareness, guiding you toward your aspirations.

I just write without a structure. The only structured thing is date and time that I record when I write. Then I just write about my day, some worries, and whenever I feel hurt.

I tend to make more progress when I just write and let the words come out how they want to. If I try to plan them, they rebel and drag their feet, kick and scream and threaten to run away with the bad boy they met online.
