Do you prefer to write in the morning or evening?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

Choosing to write in your journal in the morning or evening depends on your personal preferences and lifestyle. Morning journaling can help set a positive tone for the day, allowing you to clarify your goals and intentions. Evening journaling, on the other hand, provides an opportunity for reflection, helping you process your day and release any lingering thoughts. Experiment with both times to see which aligns better with your habits and enhances your self-care routine.

I prefer to write in the evening after I have experienced my day. I guess one downside of writing in the evening is that I typically do it just before bed and then I’m tired while writing and might be more emotional and jumbled when I write. I do prefer it though, it gives me time to reflect right before bedtime.

I prefer to write in the morning because then I have more time and I can really think about it without having any stress on my back at the end of the day

When I have the time for it, I enjoy writing at the beginning of my day, and at the end of my day before I go to bed. It helps me start and end my day with thoughtfulness and reflection.

I like to journal in the evening, after everyone else has gone to bed and I’ve got a bit of time to think about the day.
