Both pen-to-paper and digital journaling have unique benefits. Writing by hand can enhance memory retention and foster a deeper emotional connection, while typing allows for faster entry and easier editing. Consider your goals: if mindfulness and reflection are priorities, pen to paper may serve you best. If convenience and organization are key, digital options may be preferable. Ultimately, choose the method that resonates with you, as consistency in your journaling practice will lead to lasting healthy habits.

I honestly prefer journaling through pen and paper because I typically journal the after I wake up and using your phone at that time isn’t ideal at all, and personally makes my eyes hurt

I prefer journaling with pen and paper. I find that the act of writing helps me organise my thoughts better than typing on the phone. I’m a bit concerned that the error, if made, can be erased but still be visible on the paper, so I can’t write without thinking first

I prefer pen to paper, because I typically do it in the morning and evening, so it cuts out additional screen time when I am starting my day, and then when I am about to go to sleep.
