Do you mostly write about the past, present or the future? Is your journal a therepy session, a to do list or a plan?
When journaling, it’s beneficial to reflect on the past, engage with the present, and set intentions for the future. Your journal can serve multiple purposes: as a therapeutic outlet to process emotions, a to-do list to organize tasks, or a planning tool to outline future goals. The key is to find a balance that resonates with you and supports your self-care journey. Establishing a routine around journaling can enhance clarity and mindfulness, ultimately aiding in habit formation and personal growth.
Mine is all the above, my journal is kind of a therapy session for me because I talk to my journal, it’s a todo list also cause I sometimes i write my to do list in journal. And its a plan, I put my plans in my journal so that I can go back to it if I need to
