This is a great question! Id never thought about adding extras to it, although I do keep memorable items. I’ve been meaning to create a scrap book. I also have a tin with squares of paper to write down happy memories that I can fold up and look back at, although I’m not so regular with this. I actually have 3 journals right now - 1 Deepak Chopra’s 'Q&A', which has a short space to answer a thought provoking question each day, and you can see your answer over time as it covers 3 years. I highly recommend it, it helps me stay on track as I don’t want to miss a day and then make the years out of order! I also have a general journal, where I don’t so much write about things that have happened (so the pictures / memories might not quite fit), I just wrote about how I’m currently feeling, where it is in my body and see what comes up from there! I’ve really noticed I get sp much positive change from reflecting in this, it’s like an upward spiral, it feels great! Then I have my 'I feel so lucky' journal, where I write any unexpected good things that have happened to me, or where I focus on the positives, and I find that my brain carries on trying to find lucky experiences! I also use it to fuel my wildest dreams, I write as if theyve already happened and how it feels to experience that. It helps me to feel abundant, identify my goals and helps me feel like its just so possible! It sounds like a lot but I really look forward to it. I do it at the start of my day, by myself in bed with candles, incense and calmingmusic on and it just feels incredible. I start my day from a place of connection with myself, my dreams and feeling loved! Because it’s organic and in the moment, I don’t think I’ll add pictures or other items, although I will start putting them in my memory jar!! Sending lots of love xx
