Apart from running, what other excercises help a lot, and how many should I start from?
Apart from running, consider exercises like cycling, swimming, strength training, or yoga, which can also be effective for building endurance and flexibility. Start with 20-30 minutes a few times a week, gradually increasing duration and intensity as your fitness improves. The key is to find activities you enjoy to create a sustainable routine. Incorporating a variety of exercises not only keeps your workouts interesting but also helps develop well-rounded fitness habits.
I used to do cardio , but it been like two years i am doing Pilates, it helps a lot with strength and body toning it helps as well in mindfulness . I found calmness and change in my life and mind set
You can do pilates and reformer classes . For me my workout routine is Pilates five days a week each day targeting specific area of the body. You can do pilates twice a week if you want when you don’t want to run. Start slowly and be easy on yourself and don’t rush you can see progress with time
My two favorites are dancing and kickboxing. Not only do they get my heart going, but they are fun and help release emotional “tightness”. I also do yoga and make sure to stretch throughout the day. Release the feeling that you have to do all your workout at once. Spreading it out in spurts through the day makes it more manageable.
