Declutter, then take out the rest of your stuff in sections. Find homes for the pieces you use on a regular basis. Anything that doesn’t have a home or is used on a seasonal basis should have storage in more awkward places like the top of the wardrobe. It’s good to do a second cull at this point.

Prioritize the space in your bedroom strictly for what you need most often, and reduce visual clutter by having a “home” for everything inside a basket, bin, or drawer.
