That depends! If you’re doing a meditation where you need to focus on your internal state, then a controlled indoor environment might be best. That being said, if you plan to do a meditation that involves using your senses to feel, see, hear, etc. your surroundings—or if you’re actively trying to increase your ability to stay focused amidst chaos—then it might be a good idea to find an outdoor spot with natural stimuli!
Think about the goals you would like the achieve, and the strengths and weaknesses of each possible location!
