Yes, how do you prioritize your tasks ?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

To prioritize your tasks effectively, start by listing all your tasks for the day. Then, categorize them based on urgency and importance using the Eisenhower Matrix: distinguish between what is urgent and important, and what can wait. Focus on high-impact tasks that align with your goals. Remember to review and adjust your priorities regularly to ensure they reflect your evolving objectives. This practice not only enhances your productivity but also helps in creating meaningful daily rituals that support lasting healthy habits.

Anoushka I.

So I try to not overdo my To-Do list. I write down approx 5 things per day. In those 5 things, I write 3 things that are related to work/study/chores and 2 things which could be considered less “productive” for eg washing hair, taking a walk, having cold coffee, etc. And now for making a timeline, I choose a “productive” or “boring” task first and then “reward” myself with a fun task after the work gets done. For eg, I’ll start with studying and then reward myself with a cold coffee (or your drink of choice) after a study session is complete. This helps with two things : 1. It helps you tick off all/majority tasks from your To-Do list since it is already short and precise. 2. You’re not overwhelmed with 10 “productive” tasks on your To-Do list and the rewarding tasks give you the motivation to push through the boring tasks. This way my ToDo is never all work and no play, and I get to be productive and not lose my sanity over it. Hope this helps!
