When performing body scanning exercise, I struggle to name the feelings/ sensations. This then takes me out of a meditative state as I’m focused on finding the right word… Any advice of where I can go to expand my vocabulary? :)

The purpose of body scanning is to increase awareness of the sensations in your body. Instead of trying to find specific words and that inducing more anxiety, which is counterproductive to the exercise, notice areas of discomfort and dis-ease. Send those areas awareness and move on. This is coming from a clinical social worker. Hope this helps
